are any towers playable?

yeah you can access them through the elevator, which i think is in either ring 2 or 3

To my knowledge, the elevator (which was in ring 1 by the way) is gone now, and you play event towers through windswept peak. It is located in the Ring 1 sky lobby/viewing area, or you can press on the small blue orb on the Ring 1 ring select.
