Hi everyone,

The mod team is pleased to announce the addition of Rune Level 1 (RL1) to the Elden Ring leaderboards, effective immediately.

Three categories are launching together, each with Unrestricted, Restricted and Glitchless subcategories:

• RL1 Any%
• RL1 Defeat Consort
• RL1 All Remebrances

Important Information for Runners

Before submitting runs, please review the rules for complete requirements and verification procedures. Key points include:

• You must create your character with the Wretched class, the only class that starts at Rune Level 1
• You must stay at Rune Level 1 for the entire run
• Leveling up at a Site of Grace is the only thing banned. Equipment, buffs, consumables and Godrick's Great Rune are all allowed, since they do not change your Rune Level
• The save file screen at the end of the run is what proves the category. Rune Level 1 must be clearly legible on it. If it is missing or not legible, the run will be rejected
• Each subcategory follows the rules of the matching standard category

Submissions

Runs recorded before today are accepted, as long as they meet all the rules.

A run can be submitted to an RL1 board or to its standard counterpart, not both. If the same run is submitted twice, we will contact you and ask you to choose.
