What is happening on the first seconds? My first guess is that it is possible to jump off the trigger box.
Learning to do this can save ~1 second.
I believe that skipping Rourke scene in Ulysses is possible with precise jumping.
Really late reply but I figured out that when you enter the cutscene on like the very edge of the trigger, you trigger just the dialogue and then the cutscene after you move a bit more, meaning you can skip them separately, saving like a second or something probably (haven't timed it yet).
