The polls that I ran in the discord finished on July 30th 2025 with the following results:

1. Merge the Any% boards?

• Yes: 64%
• No: 36%

2. Merge the All-To-Do boards?

• Yes: 67%
• No: 33%

3. Simplify the version tags?

• Yes: 80%
• No: 20%
• Yes but I think you should do it differently: 0%

In accordance with that, I updated the version tags and merged the respective board versions. I'm not certain that I did this the most efficient way, but I manually updated a lot of old runs to have versions that are more in line with the current version standard (v1.XX.X).

I've attached a screenshot below of the original announcement and polls/results. The polls were open for a week.

Hello again! I am currently running 3 polls on the LKBC speedrun community Discord server to determine the following:

1. Should the Any% leaderboard version split be merged?

2. Should the All-To-Do leaderboard version split be merged?

3. Should the version tags be simplified?

The 2 main reasons to consider a merge are:

• All current strategy between version splits in respective boards are currently the same regardless of version

• The upcoming free content update will probably more easily justify a version split on the boards

Hello again!

The poll we ran in the discord has finished, indicating that we should start runs on the first frame of interaction in the trash bin, and ending on the very first frame of the final cutscene (first frame the white outline appears). Ensure you are timing your future runs accordingly.

I have retimed every single pb in every single category and a few obsolete runs in accordance with these new guidelines.

Hello all! A new patch just released on Steam v1.24.5.14, and is likely to roll out to consoles within the coming week as well. It has patched quite a few bugs, some of which are used in Any%, some in other categories too.

Since console players do not have the ability to downpatch, and since this patch has impacted a fairly significant amount of bugs that are utilized, we will be splitting the Any% leaderboard into pre-v1.24.5.14, and post v1.24.5.14. This effectively creates a new leaderboard for the new version, separate to the old version.

Console players will need to play on the latest release once that release is pushed out to them, unless they avoid updating their existing copy, which is certainly a process.

Regardless, for now, we will allow runners to downpatch their game and submit downpatched runs to the existing pre-v1.24.5.14 leaderboard. We understand that this does have some disadvantages for console players, who will always need to play on latest (unless they go through quite a lot of effort not to update), but this appears to be the best way to handle the situation as of now.

Players are not by any means required to downpatch in order to run, just to run in the specific older category.

Hello! The game has released and therefore the embargo period is over! Have fun playing the game casually before you run it. It has a multiple save system, so I would suggest creating a main save for the casual playthrough and then using an alternative save for speed runs. But it's ultimately up to you. The other mods and I are excited to start reviewing runs!

Welcome to the leaderboard for the full game Little Kitty Big City speedruns! As of the time that I am posting this, the game has not released yet. But it is worth noting that many players have already speedran the demo of this game that was released in 2023. We therefore will be coming into this with some pre-existing knowledge and strategy, that should be able to be carried over, even though I suspect several of the bugs we use in the demo to have been patched by now.
