During the last maybe 2 months I didn't seem to get it to work, so I wanted to know if it is even still possible.
Yes it is indeed still possible on current patch (1.003.202) however as of yet nobody from the community has managed to get a run with the forward fence teleport used in the top runs. Additionally after some testing it was discovered the new course layout doesn't seem to be any faster for the OoB route as the sand doesn't slow you down at all on the old course and the new bushes are larger.
To access the old course and have a more consistent experience, I would recommend that you check out the downpatch guide and downpatch to any patch before 1.003.000 (Heart of Democracy)
