To what extent do you think it's right for people to use cheats/hacks for the original game?
My views on them are neutral. I use the clean version.
I think it would be cool to use cheats but for their own separate categories.
I see lots of people with 890hp engines in racing servers, so why not make an 890hp subcategory?
There's also 1148hp but that would require a memory editor instead of the usual modded game, still viable for a subcategory imo, if not 890hp, then 1148hp for sure because it's the highest known permanent limit for an engine's state (not temporary, like changing your engine to 3000hp, only to reopen the game and have it go back to 717hp).
Other cheats like money mods, I think that's fine, as any "clean" racer could accomplish the same feats as long as they grinded for long enough, money mods act more so as a tool so that you can race without worrying about crashing your car or wasting your tyres so you can run harder due to having less risk.
I'd consider using illegal specs in the "Classic" categories to be bannable, since that stuff requires installing unofficial mods, memory editing. Even if unofficial mods are everywhere, iOS users might not have access.
Stuff like grip hacks personally I don't like, I only like the 890/1148hp engines because they are stable and don't require repeated modding, you make it once and its in your garage forever until you sell it, unlike modded tyres where you have to mod them every time you open the game.
Weight hacks I don't like either since it works the same way as grip hacks. That's my take on it.
