Well, based on the fact that the current versions of the game have new bosses, like those in the DLC, and the night takes longer to complete compared to previous versions, which necessarily results in a different gameplay time, my question is: "Will there be a separation of categories by game version, or will they basically abandon the speedrun proposals for Elden Ring Nightreing, and what we have are only these run proposals from months ago?". I find it quite disappointing since it's a game with a lot of potential for speedruns...
(Also, sorry for the English).
Quick question: is my run being reviewed? If it does get verified it would end up as the #1 spot for two player, glitchless, console heolstor
The reviewers are checking it when they have time (you can check the queue here https://randomidiot13.github.io/queueclient-web/#Elden_Ring_Nightreign). Probably in the future new categories related to new bosses or maps could show up.
We haven't abandoned speedrun category 'proposals' as you like to name it, or anything related to moderation. It's just that there are a lot of pending runs that need to be verified first. We like to make that a priority. Some runs have been pending for months. I have actively been trying my best to both get new verifiers on the board, and do verification myself but it has been difficult, out of my control really. But it's not a good idea to open new categories and expand the board while other runners have been waiting for months for their run to be verified. So until the run verification queue has been cleared, we are not adding new categories. After that, we can talk about adding DLC categories. I hope that clears up some things.
