Hey guys Dr.84 here and I was just wondering what are some things that beginners like myself can do to improve their runs any tips/tricks like what combos to practice would be appreciated? |

I'm also interested on starting. Is there somewhere to learn an optimal route including the inputs for combo strings and different capsule build options? |

Here you go https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=e0_8GA1PjiY&feature=emb_logo. From what I have learned in just the last couple of days it's just a matter of canceling charge attacks so you can continue the combo with said Character. I personally change my button mapping to accommodate this. I have guard set to Circle and Ki blast set to X currently and I am using a claw style grip to perform the cancels(subject to change with more experimentation). Of course the button mapping is a matter of preference although I would say start with learning how to cancel with a character to your liking and try to figure out what you can string together. It's very much like practicing combos in a traditional fighting game expert I think Budokai is more lenient with the timing of stringing things together. |
