Played on Supermodel emulator - running on the legacy renderer because the new one didn't run at full speed on my humble PC.

To my surprise, after several tries trying to get a handle on this today [after a couple succesful runs with Scorpio and then a long session trying to gets 1st with JC Eagle in Hardest diff too] I actually pulled off a run with first place - which also happens to be my fastest PB on this track now.

Full description of this run is on the video's description, but TL;DR: This car demands for good timing with the brake when going for the drift on that final turn for first place, as just letting go of the accel alone and turning will make you lose more speed [compared to Scorpio which can start the drift faster with that same method], and failing to control the Phantom well while going for the braking drift strat is most likely going to result in a spin out or crash with the outer wall.

So that's why it was SATISFYING to finally pull this off after trying this car as a kid so many times without success when the local arcade at the mall was still there.
