Sometimes in hard mode, the ground enemy does not jump directly to the player's platform, because in hard mode, the ground enemy(not contain the baton guards without armor and dogs)adds a precondition to determine whether the platform foothold is reachable: During the determination time, if the player is near the same platform as the foothold, the foothold is not determined to be reachable, and then the enemy will look for other feasible paths. If there is no other path, then the enemy will only hover near the landing point at the non-landing platform.(be like this GIF)

Interestingly, when there is no other path and after a period of time, some enemies will still reach the foothold (even if the player is near the foothold)
