Hello! Me and my friends have recently started speedrunning this game and gathered some general tips in the All Gold categrory. (Disclaimer: We played the run without returning to previous islands and only use the weapons currently given.)
General tips: - In some levels (mainly on the first and second island) you can use a weapons with 3 projectiles rather than using your newly acquired 1 projectile weapon. For example on the level "Beach House" you can use 3 stones instead of the 1 iron ball if you dont trust your aim. The result will most likely be the same. - To destroy frozen castles you should use the 3 iron balls rather than 3 bombs. Thats because when using bombs they are gone when destroyed but the iron balls are still able to do damage even after destroying the ice. - Acid only melts from the piece down where you hit it. It will not melt upwards. This is important to remember in some levels.
Level specific tips: - "Highly Explosive" Most of the time its faster to aim directly for the people instead of the explosives. - "I Re-Fuse" You can try do aim directly for the explosives with a flat angle. Medium risk high reward. - "Weak Foundation" Shoot the fuse bomb first. Then wait a bit and then shoot the manually exploded bomb with the button. This way the fuse bomb will explode right before you can explode the second bomb and you will save time in between. - "Ballroom Dance" This might be the hardest level in the game due to a bit of luck you need to beat it. In our speedruns we have discovered that aiming right between the upper pillar und the wooden roof is most efficient. This way you melt most of the foundation but still have enough roof to fall on people. - "Solid City" The fastest way we found is actually done in only one shot. This levels castle has 3 sections. To get the best result try to aim for the left edge of the third section of the building. This way you will get acid on both the right and the middle part wich will result in victory.
