Glitches and Clips for Any% with Skips

This guide will go over all the glitches, skips and clips used in Any% Skips. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the speedrun.com forums or (preferable) within the Costume Quest speedrunning discord server here. There is bound to be someone to help you understand how to do perform any of these below.

World 1 - Auburn Pines

World Clip/Skip

This lets us skip all trick or treating houses (besides a few to buy stamps for BoJonn) and get to the first boss BoJonn earlier then intended.

Currently I have 2 videos going over how to do the World 1 clip/skip. I recommend watching both. (until I make a better video with all the information in one)

The first video below goes over how to access the tree (necessary to perform the OOB clip), what happens if you fail the clip and what to do if you get caught on the fence after swapping back to Robot.

The 2nd video below (has controller cam and a indicator that can give you a better idea of before your about to clip past the fence)

World 2 - Autumn Haven Mall

Ninja Skip/Floor 3 Early

The quest to unlock the Ninja costume usually requires us to fight 3 enemies (with horns) and bring said horns back to some kids in Ninja costumes to prove our worth and get to the 3rd floor. With this skip/clip, we not only skip the entire quest itself but the Ninja costume entirely and get us to the 3rd floor earlier then intended.

Currently there is no dedicated video (yet) to describe how to perform this clip/skip but it's similar to the World 1 Clip/Skip so the video below should suffice. All you have to do is hold down right and shield clip between the black and red ninja. Once your through enough (not shown in my video), you can actually hold upwards after your clipped in enough and finish the rest of the clip.

World 3 - Fall Valley

Character Stacking/Fry Skip

(sometimes referred to as Wall/Carnival Skip)

In world 3, after getting our costumes back and getting access to the Fry costume, we are expected to help the Fry standee attract some customers to his fry stand and help out his business. Instead, we can use the Fry costume via Character Stacking and skip a major section (Carnival) and head to the last 3 bosses of the game sooner then intended.

Since there is currently no dedicated video on how to do character stacking and the fry skip as of yet, again Harsh's video also does a good job at explaining it.
