Recently we found out that in the Japanese version all dialogues are skipped much faster (almost 4 seconds timesave). If someone beat WR on J version, his run will be in the main category or it will be moved to a separate one? I wouldn't want to grind RNG for years and then go to a separate J leaderboard. Like they want to do in Battletoads with Zitz, because he is faster :)

Before Freezer: US = 5.472 J = 5.138 0.334 difference
After Ghost house: US = 28.896 J = 25.759 3.137 difference
The last dialogue US = 6.440 J = 6.073 0.367 difference
Total difference: 3.838 (I used turbo buttons for more accurate metering)

If the time differnce in version comes from just faster cutscences not significantly different strats/routing in stages itself, I don't see a reason to split categories, if community is up for leaving them together. Additionally, there is still technically a lot of time to save against current record, so those few seconds aren't determining at current point.
The freezer (Inside) shouldn't take that long in text. If I'm not mistaken, it's only have 5 or 6 lines. 3 then 2 or other way around but if J version has much less then IDK. I mean if the length is fading out after the cutscene is the same I don't see why separate them unless you want to make it fair so it won't force everyone to do J version only in one tab category that eliminate all the US version.
I've been meaning to re-learn and practice this full game again. So I can put my time in the leaderboard someday....and somehow to get me motivated.
