Expert Tracks:

Play through all Expert Tracks in any order, see Track List below

Additional Rules:

  • Timing is done exclusively through the in-game timer, by adding together all of your track times. For additional (optional) information on timing, please check out this guide on how to set up Manual Game Time for Full Game Runs
  • The use of Ultra Shortcuts or The Speed Glitch are not allowed.
  • If you get the no-timer at the end-of-race bug, you can repeat the track that the bug occurred on.
  • If the game crashes between tracks, you may reboot your game and continue the run as normal. If the game crashed in the middle of a track, you must unfortunately reset your run. We will re-evalutate this rule if it becomes a major issue, but it hasn't been one in the past.
  • You may not use any kind of Trainer, Cheat Table, or any sort of Macro/Turbo during runs. A Macro could include automated actions assigned to a single binding, or multiple actions bound to a single binding.
  • LiveSplit is not required for this challenge, but is still encouraged. You may download LiveSplit at http://livesplit.org/downloads/.
  • Game cannot be modified in any way, including by third party software, with the exception of patches provided by the developer.
  • Game audio must be audible in your submission, however you may disable dialog audio and/or music, just make sure the sound effects are audible in your video submission.
  • Modification of the game files is not allowed. This applies to any form of modification, such as texture swaps, model swaps, QoL changes, etc...
  • Moderators have the right to hold, or even reject, any run they deem contrary to the spirit of the rules, even if the grounds for such a rejection are not explicitly listed in these rules. For example, if a runner submits a run that contains a powerful, perhaps ‘boundary-pushing’, trick that has not been shown to the wider community.

What is a Challenge?

Challenges are time-limited speedrunning competitions.

They function very similarly to regular leaderboards except run submission is only allowed within a set time frame.

Challenges may feature unique themes, rules, or objectives that differ from the regular categories. They provide an opportunity to explore different aspects of a game or to celebrate specific events, discoveries, or community milestones.

What is a Contest?

Contests are special challenges hosted by the team at Speedrun.com that may offer prize money and other benefits.
