I don't know where this came from.. but yeah, that's the new world record!! And this was the first run of the day, first run in South-East Asia. Maybe being in my other home country just gave me the power.
I wasn't even set up correctly so my manual split button was not easily accessible so I wasn't able to split correctly in challenges or at the end of the run. I was also very convinced Whale had a 17:28 until I was reminded.
The run itself, actually has room for improvement straight off the bat as I have a slowish Bjorn (3:30) and a slowish Jimmy (4:16), with a 7:46 Jimmy exit. This event has shown me how I can get sub-7:20 Jimmy exists and even during this session I got a sub-7:00 exit that died to Renfield. However, the Renfield in this run is ridiculous with it being sub-4:30 at 4:27.
Challenges was ridiculous. 1:01 duel (decent), 0:37 5-ball (gold, insane), 0:43 more orange (1s off gold, very good), 0:35 200k 7 ball (gold, insane) and 2:19 mini-marathon (solid average).
Please let this be it. It would be amazing.
Twitch VOD, run starts at 15:55:

Challenges are time-limited speedrunning competitions.
They function very similarly to regular leaderboards except run submission is only allowed within a set time frame.
In addition to that, they may feature unique themes, rules, or objectives that differ from the regular categories. They provide an opportunity to explore different aspects of a game or to celebrate specific events, discoveries, or community milestones.
Challenges within our SRC Series are internally funded and hand-picked to celebrate and give back to our communities. These challenges not only recognize the passion and dedication of our runners but also encourage a more laid-back environment, focused on community collaboration rather than raw competition.
