*Note - This is my first guide, I'm certain that it can be improved but it offers some help to get started.
Road to 10 VP: (in a rough chronological order)
- Initial settlements close to each other so you can connect (2VP)
- buy dev cards, go for at least 2 VP cards and largest army (4VP) ((5VP))
- Build 1 or 2 additional roads and settlements (or city upgrade) (2VP) ((1VP))
- Connect your roads so you longest road (2VP)
The second step is most important. You need some lucky cards, in my opinion a run is not viable without 2 VP cards, preferably more. If you get 3 you only have to build 1 addidtional settlement or a city.
In early game it helps to trade, in late game it's better to turn the 'I dont want to trade' button on so you save time on not having to reply to trade offers.
IMPORTANT - Make sure you use the best settings that save most speed. (animations, etc)
