Hello, new bridg speedrunners! With the rapidly growing community for speedrunning bridg, it can be a little daunting for new players to get into the game. But fear not, that's why I've made this simple guide for how to speedrun bridg.

Part 1: Catagories
The core mechanic of bridg is kicking the rock into the walls. Each wall is considered a level, and there are four walls in the full game. So naturally, there are four separate categories for speedrunning bridg. First Wall Percent is of course defined by how fast it takes you to break the first wall. This is currently the most competitive category. Second Wall Percent is the time it takes to break the first and then the second wall. Third Wall Percent is, following the trend, how long it takes to break the first three walls. This category currently only has one run, which is by yours truly. And finally, Any% is the time it takes to break all four walls (Or just the final wall, if possible). This category is currently completely empty, as there is no proof of anyone ever breaking the fourth wall. My last attempt took four hours before I gave up.
Whichever category you choose to run is up to you! ALSO, there is currently a BOUNTY for completion of wall 4. The first person to provide footage of them from the start of the game to breaking the fourth wall will receive a bounty of $80 (this bounty can increase if anyone else wants to add)

Part 2: The Rock
The titular rock of bridg is a very unpredictable beast. When you kick said rock, it seems to move in almost random directions. This, for the most part, is unavoidable and just considered the RNG aspect of the game. But, there are some tactics, like moving the camera angle lower, that seems to help. None of these are totally proven, and hopefully, in the future, we will find more concrete ways to control the rock.

Part 3: Wall Resets
We have found that if you click the reset button right as you break a wall, it will save you a small amount of time getting to the next rock. The reset button defaults to R on the keyboard.

Part 4: The Goal
A while ago, one of my friends reached out to the creator of bridg and asked him "what do you do once you get past the fourth wall?". They wanted to know if there was some sort of cutscene or screen that popped up, since hacking the game has shown there isn't anything physically behind the 4th wall. The creator, Zohyo, responded to the question of what you do after beating bridg with the answer "Be happy." 
So remember, the core of bridg isn't to be the fastest or best, but instead to have fun.
