That seems like a cool idea. I don't know how moderating works, so i don't know if it will be harder to tell, but the idea that you don't need to spend so much money on a capture card, and console, and game, seems awesome. However, do you mean just a category for emulator speedruns, or do you mean speedruns for additional content mods like second wind?

i think just base game would work, but theres also the issue of loading times. i have the game on a NVME and compared to my wii u or switch, it loads nearly instant, with wii u taking the longest. heck even compared to a HDD it removes a good 2s from loads, and things like windbombs dont stutter/stop when loading new assets.
