I'm a new person who's trying to have a name in the leaderboards, a personal achivment. But, I have issues to count the time of my run, I don't know how to do it. I'm on PS5, so I can't use that software of PC that count your time run while u are playing. Can someone help me? any tip or direct help are well-received. (i'm Brazilian, sorry for any mistake on communication, language or anything).
I also use PS5. When I create a highlight on Twitch, I time it on there. As long as you know when to start and finish timing, you should be good. Admins also re-time runs if it is not timed correctly
Hey guys I am a moderator that verifies runs. Having a timer displayed in the video is helpful but not required. As far as timing yourself while playing on console, you can do that separately using the stopwatch on a phone or if you have a computer you can use livesplits or a stopwatch on there as well. You can also time the run from the video footage. When you submit the run a mod will double check the time anyway. It's also a good idea to familiarize yourself with the general rules for Cold War speedruns, as well as the specific category rules for the run you are doing. For example: When the game is paused your time also pauses. If you have any other questions I'll be happy to try and answer them the best I can or direct you to a good youtube video
You need to find the leaderboard for the run you are looking for. There will be a tab you click on that says "show rules" Once that page opens it will show you the Game and Category Rules.
