Download live splits and use that as real the real time timer. You can record it on obs and upload it to YouTube, then link the video to the upload page or if you stream it you can upload the highlighted stream to YouTube There's some YouTube videos on how to set up that stuff

When I first got into speedrunning, I did some research on the subject and I also watched some videos on the subject matter. In fact, here is one that I recommend any new runner watches before getting started:

The real time is set by a timer like live split. In game time or IGT in Banjo Kazooie can be easily seen by going to leaderboards on Xbox 360; in N64 i don't know

@Veloxplayer098 There are 2 ways to view the in-game timer in Banjo-Kazooie; The first is by pulling up the totals menu and scrolling all the way to the left until it says "Game Totals". And the second is by viewing the file used during the run on the file select screen.

You'll need to buy a gvUSB2 and some av cables. Are you on discord? Find me in the banjo kazooie one and I'll show you 👍

@Dossey5 Another option is an Elgato HD60 S along with a Retro Tink 2x or an Eon Super 64 so that you can hook up either your composite cables to the Retro Tink 2x from your N64 and then hook that up to your capture device, or hook up the Eon Super 64 to the N64 and connect the HDMI cable to the Elgato. I do something like this myself except I use an Elgato HD60 Pro and it works great for me.

Fair price difference though, hdmi captures are pricey for sure haha

Leaderboard Changes

The leaderboard changes have been officially completed! Thanks to Wedarobi, with the power of his scripting, we now have categories sorted by Console first (Nintendo 64, Xbox, Nintendo Switch) rather than category (100%, Any%, Any% Restricted, etc).

Here's a breakdown of everything else changed:
