Everything you need to know to go fast

Settings - The first part is making sure your settings are optimal. Your field of view should be set to 90, your camera tilt anywhere comfortable (I use 35). Next i recommend using “taps” even though it might be harder to learn than joystick, it is considerably faster. Also make sure to enable frame rate and determine what quality setting (low, medium, and high) is best for your specific device as your gonna want the best stable frame rate possible. Lastly, your sensitivity will be determined by what map you are currently playing. For example you would use 1 for Lava River and Atmosphere, while you would use 3 for Alley, generally this would be best as low as possible. You can find all these in the main menu settings.

Gameplay - For “taps” the fastest way to gain speed is holding down the right side of the screen and tapping the left side to counter strafe. This is basically all you need to know but here are some specific tricks that might help you. If you need to make a sharper turn than your sensitivity allows you can swipe on the screen in the direction you want to turn, this is useful for sharp corners and playing on low sensitivities. Another small trick is that you can gain some (very little) speed right at the start. Instead of pressing restart after dying, you exit the map and join back as to where you see the “touch to start” screen. The last tip I can currently think of is for some maps it might be helpful to enable “auto-respawn” in the setting and then dying and respawning as this gives you a later jump cycle.
