Timing ends on the last hit against Ozai.

Notes:
Dying doesn't waste much time unless you were in combat when you died or were in combat shortly before dying (i.e. before the next checkpoint).
In combat, use double-jump attacks as little as possible. A double-jump attack knocks down all enemies close to you for a long time. If possible, use a single-jump attack to knock down one enemy for a short amount of time. When using Sokka, you can substitute this for throwing your boomerang (it has the same effect).
