Hello runners,

Been away from the game for a long time, so I'm going to leave the design of categories and the decision on when a run starts (and indeed, ends) to the community. I'll keep the verification to myself and Sodium for a bit just so it keeps me engaged, really, and to have a fair arbiter (because I won't be running myself any more, don't have the time)

I'll be editing this post with the information of which categories we have, and the specific rules for them; so without further ado:

General rules (these apply to all runs):

  • Timer starts when pressing [Esc] during the intro/landing sequence.
  • Must use Colonize mode
  • Cannot use debug menu

Wardrobe:

  • Time end when the sound effect of the Wardrobe construction completion starts playing.

Yes you did. I hadn't noticed as the play/pause button on youtube hid your timer. :D I'll modify accordingly.

Agree with the first two (Generic don't cheat rules). The random seed one I'm going to leave open for debate, as I've seen other games run on specific seeds just to optimise that 1 route; plus Autonauts seem to not have EVERYTHING determined by the seed.
