Hello! I've discovered that with all the excess points you get from the 2nd Race, you can skip the last chicane. It seems to me like you can even do it twice as in the following attempt I only lost -268 points and still had 297 more than I needed. That would probably save like 8 seconds of the total time I would guess. Here's my example (don't mind the gold split, I'm new to speedrunning and the split was set up wrong):

I don't think this would be possible on the third race however, as you commonly finish with just like ~150 excess points. These would still allow for a different, smaller cut though.

The shortcut is totally viable in the second time attack. You can even do it both times you come across there. Although it is pretty close. I got 1518 out of 1500 required points.

For the third time attack it is a little tricky not to lose the car or get launched on the right side of the straight and lose more points. But if you can keep it on the track after the last corner, you can get it. I got in my run 1043 out of 1000 required points.

And I gained 11 seconds in total compared to WR with that :D

Very nice. I also came to realisation that it'd be possible on the 3rd race, just risky with the rear-wheel drive. By the way, what is your input method? I use a Logitech Driving Force GT. PS: I've already been sitting on a WR for a day, waiting to get verified. I got a 6:34 FYI, I've been checking speedrun.com every 30 minutes the past day. All I want is a WR already man haha

I have a Fanatec Porsche GT3RS with G25 Pedals. and I just found out that Lukekek also improved on N2 Any%.

Nice to see some action here in this game now 😁 But the verification does take a while.

(Please lookover some English misses) I have a tip about chicane skips. We can do the skip not only the course, but also other tracks. Example 1, Monza: We can two skips with light penalty(1st chicane) or no penalty(9th corner). Example 2, Imola: We can two skips with light penalty(variante alta) or no penalty(variante villeneuve).

Of course we can do chicanes skips basically everywhere. For example for N2 Any% you may be able to skip the last chicane for TA. Not so much for the races, due to the penalty you get. Haven't tried it yet, but was thinking about that.
