I tried this strat a year ago and I think it's way too risky for a maybe 1 sec save if you get the edge boost. But again, edge boost can be trained to be more consistent. But I think there are a lot of better risky edge boost to train before this one ( like the one that can save 10 sec in village).

Maybe it could save some time in AC runs if you boosted from that point all the way to the collectable but it's super unlikely
