# **Clutch Boosting** 

Found at the bottom-right of the screen is the Clutch (dash) Boost meter.  If the player taps the attack button when the meter turns red Anton will be boosted forward accompanied by an explosion. You can also boost by tapping the attack button as you touch the ground if you jumped after clutching beforehand.  Maintaining a boost chain / combo will increase Anton's base speed to a cap.

This mechanic is not in the Kickstarter demo.

# **What are Rollouts?**

A rollout is a speedrunning technique that allows a player to gain a large speed boost from a stand-still.  Clutching has a unique & subtle property of granting the player a large speed increase the moment the input starts, this quickly dissipates in a fraction of a second.  A Corkscrew Crush (midair hammer spin) will always lock the current speed of how fast the player is moving.  Utilizing these two mechanics by performing a rapid string of inputs will catapult yourself forward.

# **How do I perform a Rollout?** 

- **Sliding Rollout** - While sliding, quickly press jump and attack to preserve the speed gained from the beginning of the clutch.

- **Standing Rollout** - When on the ground quickly press attack, jump, and attack again while midair. You gain slightly slower speeds due to the additional input required and delay between jumping + attacking midair.  However with the reduction of sliding it's faster to enter the "rollout" state than a sliding rollout and can be performed nearly anywhere regardless of space.
- **Slingshot Rollout (Super Fucking Rollout)** - During a clutch if you press the attack button just before colliding with an enemy you'll perform a slingshot, immediately perform a rollout afterwards to lock your speed gaining the fastest movement option barring transformations. 

Clutch Spins were introduced to the game in *Dynamite Demo 2.0* and reworked into slingshots for the game's official release.
