- Prendre le Yellow Gun
- Prendre le couloir de gauche avec les signes.
- Appuyez sur Echap quand vous voyez la grille de cubes jaunes.
- Allez à la porte qui garde la fin.
- Faire le cube conservation glitch
- Allez à Leap of Faith
- Prendre le cube du glitch en reculant, le poser par terre et monter sur le cube.
- Utilisez le pouvoir du Yellow Gun pour monter
- Une fois en haut, avancez jusqu'à l'énigme gardant le Red Gun.
- Résolvez l'énigme

- Posez-le pour cut l'énigme

- Posez un cube par terre et montez avec le Middle Clic.
- Avancez jusqu'au signe.

- Allez à A Loop That Won't Close

- Continuez et construisez un pont de cubes au sol pour traverser

- Avancez pour déclencher le trigger
- Retournez à A Loop That Won't Close
- Partez sur la porte close à droite (pour trigger le signe), puis revenir sur vos pas et continuer sur l'énigme avec les lasers.
- A mi-chemin du destructeur de cubes, faire demi-tour.

- Revenir sur cette énigme avec les lasers
- Prenez les trois cubes (soit à gauche, soit à droite), faites un Lag Glitch.
- Passez à travers puis prenez le signe à droite, puis continuez vers le mur de cubes verts

- Allez à Ground Floor
- Prenez les cubes jaunes sur la droite

- Arrivez sur le 4ème étage et partez à gauche.
- Reculez pour le signe dès la disparition de l'environnement.
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez de l'autre côté du "FLY"
- Prendre un cube et se retourner
- Cube chambering et cuttez l'énigme
- Arrivez au 5ème étage et continuer sur la gauche.
- Cube Chambering.
- Avancez dans le destructeur de cubes et poser un cube rouge.
- Montez avec le pouvoir de votre Gun sur la gauche.
- Avancez et à mi-chemin, faites demi-tour (l'environnement doit se désintégrer)
- Allez chercher la lettre M jaune et posez le en contrebas.
- Sautez en l'air et montez avec le pouvoir de votre gun.
- Une fois en haut, prenez vos cubes tout en reculant.
- Si vous continuez en reculant, prenez à gauche, si vous vous retournez, prenez à droite.
- Résolvez l'énigme
- Continuez sur les jumpers.
- Allez vers le "Up" en contrebas.
- Si possible, prendre un cube du Up pour remonter, sinon, utiliser le pouvoir du gun pour remonter.
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Retournez dans la salle avec 4 sorties (en hauteur)
- Retournez-vous et la plateforme cubique à gauche.
- Puis ressautez sur la plateforme à gauche.
- Touchez le premier laser pour ouvrir la porte
- Rentrez dans le destructeur de cubes.
- Faites un LAG glitch pour éviter le cube qui referme la porte sus-dite.
- Continuez jusqu'au signe tout droit.
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez à Learning To Draw.
- Frayez-vous un chemin.
- Prenez quelques cubes et poursuivez tout droit.
- Résolvez l'énigme jusqu'au signe.
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Retournez à Learning to Draw (encore)
- Sur le pilier central, faites glisser un cube vert du côté gauche vers le laser pour ouvrir la trappe.
- Prenez quelques cubes et collez l'amas de cubes central.
- Placez des cubes sur la partie supérieure de l'énigme de gauche.
- Faites glisser ce cube jusqu'à son laser.
- Placez les cubes sur la partie inférieure (remplissez à fond)
- Avancez jusqu'à l'embranchement suivant.
- Passez à droite (côté bleu)
- Essayez de placer des cubes pour ouvrir le passage et avancez.
- Cliquez sur le signe sur le mur de gauche.
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez à Strength in Numbers
- Frayez-vous un chemin devant vous.
- Allez sur la droite
- Dupliquez quelques cubes
- Faites un Lag Glitch pour passer le destructeur de cubes
- Faites un ascenseur de cubes (en en posant plusieurs d'affilé, sans le pouvoir du Gun)
- Continuez sur la trappe de couleur cyan-verte.
- En touchant le sol, appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez à Déjà Vu.
- Continuez tout droit et résolvez l'énigme
- Avancez tout droit (un peu plus loin que le signe) et appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap (pour trigger la suite)
- Allez à Managing Resources
- Résolvez la partie à gauche et avancez légèrement pour obtenir le signe
- Appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap.
- Allez à The Missing Pieces
- Retournez-vous et prenez les cubes bleus
- Avancez et faites un ascenseur de cubes.
- Avancez vers la trappe cyan
- Descendez en bas et avancez un peu.
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez à l'intersection des 3 embranchements du début.
- Continuez dans la galerie d'art.
- Prenez le portail
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez au labyrinthe des murs verts
- Finissez le labyrinthe
- Avancez en prenant à gauche
- Faites 2 tours et demi pour être safe ou 2 tours et quart.
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez en contrebas de Leap of Faith orientée mur vert
- Prenez le chemin lumineux
- Appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap dès que vous sortez de l'obscurité
- Allez à l'embranchement Escalier Rouge/ Escalier Bleu
- Prenez le rouge, descendez, une fois au bout, appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap, revenez à cet embranchement
- Montez avec l'escalier bleu.
- Avancez un peu sur la gauche et faites demi-tour.
- Continuez jusqu'à passer la porte.
- Prenez le signe et appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap.
- Allez sur le piédestal du Gun Bleu
- Avancez tout droit en résolvant les énigmes
- Vous arrivez à une intersection
- Posez les cubes sur la droite.
- Prenez la deuxième à droite.
- Revenez sur vos pas et prenez à droite (tout droit sur l'axe d'où vous venez)
- Continuez jusqu'à des emplacements pour cubes et un ressort.
- Remplissez ces emplacements
- Touchez le signe
- Faites demi tour
- Passez sous le ressort
- Cliquez sur le signe, reculez un peu
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez à Now You See it
- Résolvez la salle du spawn
- Prenez le cube et retournez vous.
- Placez le cube dans la nouvelle porte fraichement apparue.

- Revenez du côté de votre endroit d'apparition et continuez tout droit
- Un escalier devrait apparaitre

- Retournez-vous et prenez les cubes jaunes du M
- Revenez à l'orientation de votre spawn et créez un pont en face du "WTF"
- Cliquez sur le signe
- Faites demi tour
- Tombez dans le trou
- En touchant le sol, appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez au faux mur de cubes verts
- Frayez-vous un chemin
- Deplacez les cubes rouges du côté vert
- Aspirer les deux côtés
- Passer à gauche (côté vert) pour prendre le signe puis côté rouge.
- Avancez
- Placez dans cubes rouges en extansion de la salle d'à côté
- A l'aide du pouvoir de votre gun, allez chercher les cubes vers la salle suivante.
- Rentrez dans le trou.
- Faites demi-tour.
- Amenez les cubes dans la salle adjacentes.
- En prendre 2 et résoudre la salle.
- Continuer vers le signe
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Retournez dans la salle que vous venez de traverser avec des cris de baleine.
- Prenez l'autre chemin.
- Vous arrivez sur un ressort
- Montez
- Vous arrivez sur une salle à plafond noir et à sol bleu, avancez un peu.

- Allez à Starway to Heaven
- Avancez et prenez le chemin de droite.

- Jumpez mid air pour prendre le signe plus rapidement

- Faites demi tour
- Mettez vous sur la plateforme en ramassant les cubes de sorte que la plateforme va vous monter au maximum.
- Avancez en plaçant les cubes.Arrivé à un embranchement, placez un cube en face, placez à l'horizontale des cubes pour remplir les emplacements vides tout en allant chercher le signe de la porte précédemment ouverte.
- Allez chercher le nouveau signe.
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Allez à Jumping Through Hoops
- Avancez
- En haut, appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap.
- Allez sur le chemin qui mène à la fin.
- Résolvez la première énigme.
- Faites un Lag glitch pour passer le destructeur de cubes.
- Continuez sur le premier chemin à droite.
- Essayez de dupliquez vos cubes sur ce chemin.
- Arrivé au premier ressort, ne le prenez pas, faites un ascenseur de cubes.
- Prenez le premier portail à gauche
- Avancez dans la nouvelle salle blanche tout droit.
- Strafez légèrement à gauche puis reculez.
- Prenez le portail le plus proche de vous (couleur bleu foncé)
- Continuez à résoudre les énigmes jusqu'à un couloir cyan.
- Faites le skip avec le cube (pour sauter la salle suivante).
- Avancez et faites un ascenseur de cubes.
- Une fois sur un long couloir, au niveau du signes sur votre gauche, lancez 2 cubes et appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap (avec le glitch de conservation de cubes)
- Allez à The Escape et prenez vos cubes.
- Posez un cube sur votre droite, avancez sur la porte qui vient de s'ouvrir; avancez un peu et revenez sur vos pas.
- Allez ouvrir une succession de portes à laser.
- Vous allez tomber sur votre gauche sur un destructeur de cubes.
- Faites un cube chambering.
- Continuez sur ce chemin sans lâcher votre cube chambering.
- Une fois le second destructeur de cubes passé, relâchez votre cube chambering et récupérez votre cube.
- Skippez les énigmes avec ce cube.
- Continuez jusqu'au dernier signe/gros amas de cubes rouges.
- Appuyez sur Echap
- Placez-vous du côté du timer.
- Appuyez sur une salle.
- Positionnez-vous droit.
- Appuyez sur Appuyez sur Echap en strafe vers la gauche.
- Vous venez d'obtenir votre 120ème signe.
- Bravo

This video also only uses Llanfair, whereas current versions of AntiTimer support both Llanfair and LiveSplit. This text guide covers setting up AntiTimer with LiveSplit as it's the much more widely used timer now. However, AntiTimer comes with Llanfair bundled, so you don't have to download any extra timer if you don't already use LiveSplit - in that case you can just follow the video setup.

## Intro

Antichamber does not use an autosplitter script directly within LiveSplit due to the differing completion conditions/locations for each category. We have our own external autosplitter program called AntiTimer, which can be obtained from the Resources tab here: https://www.speedrun.com/antichamber/resources (AntiTimer Redux)

## First Start

Download the AntiTimer jar file and run it. If it doesn't run, come ask in [the discord](https://discord.gg/0dBYWRfaor3IhCHa) for help. It's likely you just need to [reinstall java](https://www.java.com/download/) or [repair a broken jar association](https://johann.loefflmann.net/en/software/jarfix/). If neither of those work, you can try running the jar from the console by:

1. Open Windows Explorer to the folder with the antitimer jar file in it.
2. Hold Shift and right-click in an empty spot in the folder.
3. Select "Open powershell window here" (or depending on your Windows version, it might say command line or windows terminal rather than powershell)
4. In the powershell window, type in: `java -jar antitimer-0.2.6.jar` Replace "antitimer-0.2.6.jar" with the current filename, and hit enter.

After running AntiTimer for the first time, it will ask you for the location of Antichamber's exe file (UDK.exe). The default location is: `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Antichamber\Binaries\Win32\UDK.exe`

## AntiTimer
WydD created a completely automatic timer for Antichamber. It is called AntiTimer; you press no buttons, it has all the in-game triggers set up in such a way that you can select any triggers to automatically hit splits. It also comes with some save trackers/monitors so you can see in real time what is being saved into the savegame. 

It has since been updated and improved upon by mkirsch42 and you can find the download link here (get the Redux version): __[Resources](http://www.speedrun.com/Antichamber/resources)__

Config ini Edits

## Info
All config files are located in "%installdir%\Antichamber\UDKGame\Config\"
(Typically "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Antichamber\UDKGame\Config\")

**The game must be closed while editing these files**

### Rebind Esc to Q
Find the following line in **UDKInput.ini**:
`Bindings=(Name="Escape",Command="ShowMenu | onrelease CancelExit",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)`

Replace "Escape" with "Q" so that it now looks like:
`Bindings=(Name="Q",Command="ShowMenu | onrelease CancelExit",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)`

### Bind Fire to ScrollWheel
Add the following line in **UDKInput.ini** anywhere under the *[Engine.PlayerInput]* section:
`Bindings=(Name="MouseScrollUp",Command="GBA_Fire",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)`
This is used to do HS and Warp Glitch, and can be used to pillar up much more quickly in The Chase.

### Bind Pick Up to ScrollWheel
Add the following line in **UDKInput.ini** anywhere under the *[Engine.PlayerInput]* section:
`Bindings=(Name="MouseScrollDown",Command="StartAltFire",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)`
This one is used for Warp Glitch and picking up cubes with blue gun.

### Enable Console
Find the following lines in **DefaultInput.ini**:

ConsoleKey=None
TypeKey=None
```
Put a semicolon in front of each of these lines so that they now look like:
```
;ConsoleKey=None
;TypeKey=None
```
At the end of a run, hit Tab and type in "restartlevel" without the quotes to be put back into the Main Hub without having to close the game.

### Disable Unreal startup logo
* Browse to "%installdir%\Antichamber\UDKGame\Movies\"

- Rename all the files located here. Do not delete them.

### Remove the 62 FPS cap
**This is not necessary, and probably unwanted** - Removing the fps cap makes mouse movement smoother, but reduces walking speed. It also prevents you from pushing the large white cubes. This is not allowed in "100%" or Pink Cubes runs since it increases the speed of the pinks.

Line adding LeftAlt to **UDKInput.ini**:
`Bindings=(Name="LeftAlt",Command="SetFps 60 | onrelease SetFps 999",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)`
Whenever you hold LeftAlt, it will set the fps back to 60, allowing you to push the large white cubes if you're doing a 120 signs run with the fps cap removed.

Changes in **UDKEngine.ini** (find these values and change them to match what you see here):

UseVsync=False
```
This is the portion which actually removes the fps cap.

This includes rebinding Esc to Q, creating a binding for fire set to scrollwheel, enabling the console, and disabling the startup logo.

Lag glitch - Linux

Lag can be created in Linux by switching to an alternative virtual terminal (tty), then back to the X-session being used to run the game. Just like using F11 in Windows, using lag allows the player to bypass triggers without detection.

The lag actually occurs during the recovery of the X-session when switching back from an alternative tty. However, the game appears to completely suspend (both triggers and the physics engine) when the X-session is inactive. Since the player cannot move in the game while in an alternate tty, we must first jump while holding forward before switching ttys. If we switch sessions at the peak of our jump, the game will suspend the player in midair and store our forward momentum. When returning to the X-session, the physics engine will become active prior to the triggers. During this window, the player will begin descending from their jump while also retaining the stored forward momentum. Immediately holding forward when returning to the X-session will help restore as much forward momentum as possible during the descent.

The execution is,

-Run forwards, then press jump
-When at the height of your jump, switch to an alternative tty (eg Ctrl+Alt+F2, depending on your distribution and configuration).
-Switch back to the X-session (eg Ctrl+Alt+F7, depending on your distribution's configuration). Immediately after switching, hold forward.

Notes:
-The speed at which you switch back to the X-session from an alternate tty session does not impact the performance of the glitch.
-This has not been tested to buffer HS. 
-This has not been tested with Cube Fly.
-The game's graphics may be significantly distorted after preforming this glitch and can only be resolved by reloading your graphics drivers or restarting the game.
-This has not been thoroughly tested on different configurations of hardware/software. This has only been tested on one flavor/DE of Linux (Mint 18.1 x64 / XFCE). Please share your experience in detail in the Discord.

Major vs Minor lag + F9

[Major vs Minor lag]

Lag can be used to,

	1- Pass through game triggers without activating them
	2- Buffer HS
	3- Perform cube fly

Both of the currently relevant methods of lag, F11 and Alt+Enter, can be used for any of these purposes. Let's define these methods as sources of "Major lag", since they lag the game for a significant number of frames. In lengthier categories, namely 120 signs, the time loss associated with using a Major lag method is negligible. However, for the time critical categories like Any%, seconds (and even milliseconds, especially in the case of the Warp subcategory) are vital. The current WR for Any% Warpless uses a previously undocumented source of Minor Lag, F9, to buffer hub storage, as it is a more time sensitive method for lag than any of the Major lag methods.

By default, F9 is bound to "shot". This is a default bind in UDK (https://docs.unrealengine.com/udk/Three/TakingScreenshots.html) used to take and save screenshots. After pressing F9, a very small amount of lag is created (a very substantial amount of lag may be experienced on the first press of F9 each time the game is started).

F9 works on both Linux and Windows (untested in OSX). There is enough lag to buffer HS. This method of buffering HS is more difficult than using any of the Major lag methods. The current WR for Any% Warpless uses this method (0:46) https://youtu.be/G9Vu-quSEew?t=46 

There is enough lag to pass certain triggers without detection, but not all. For example, beams that activate/deactivate doors can be skipped without detection. However, there have been no successful attempts to bring cubes through the particle field leading to The Chase using this method.

Notes:

-The game's screenshot directory will fill with actual screenshots, one per press of F9 or use of the "shot" command. However, if playing the game in Linux, there are no files output.
-F9 has not been tested with Cube Fly.

## Basics/Info

### Lag/Lagless Explanation
Lag and lagless apply to every category, so I will describe the difference here, in reference to Any%, instead of breaking each category section into two. Because of cube chambering being discovered, lag and lagless are no longer separate sub-categories but rather are able to be compared on the same leaderboard.

**Lag**

Lag was originally found by watching a first playthrough livestream where the broadcaster was lagging and ended up with cubes in The Chase. We then went about trying to figure out ways to cause lag. The first method found was to create a large hollow cube so the game lags while it fills in. A run using this original method can be seen **[here](http://www.twitch.tv/pallidus/v/49728198)**. It then progressed to making a much smaller cube and picking up some from the middle of it while it tried to fill itself in, as shown in **[this run](http://www.twitch.tv/pallidus/v/49644873)**. I'm not quite sure how, but we eventually found that alt-tab (as well as alt-enter, or F11) also causes lag, so the run progressed to the way it is currently.

In order to cause lag using the alt-tab method, the inputs are as follows:
Without letting go of Alt, hit Tab, release Tab, hit Shift, hit Tab, release Tab, release Shift, hold W, and finally release Alt.

For the alt-enter method, the inputs are basically the same but are listed here:
Without letting go of Alt, hit Enter, hit Enter again, hold W, and finally release Alt.

For the F11 method, all you need to do is double-tap F11 and then hold W.
Although this method requires less button presses, it can still be slower for your machine to recover from than alt-tab or alt-enter.

The F11 method is allowed to be rebound to another button (extra keyboard or mouse macro buttons) because it is a one-button method. The other two methods of lag are not allowed to be bound as a macro.

Use whichever method your machine recovers from more quickly, unless you have to play in windowed mode since alt-tab lag is only possible in fullscreen. If you have to play in windowed mode, then you have to use alt-enter or F11 lag (or alternatively, one of the older methods described above).

If you're running on Linux, then we don't have a method yet, feel free to contact me if you find a method for Linux (not including the old "make a hollow cube" methods).

Also, as described **[here](https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/would_this_be_allowed_in_pc_speedrunning.html)**, SDA will not accept runs utilizing alt-tab (and likely alt-enter) lag. If you intend on doing a run for SDA submission, then you will have to use old lag methods (unsure if those are allowed by SDA), or use lagless. SDA also uses a different timing method - the timer would start as soon as you gain control after deleting save, in the main hub, and timing would stop when the game fades to black after the cutscene.

**Lagless**

Lagless was the original Any% route pre-lag discovery. An original run can be seen **[here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHdKemJyOLA)** or **[here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-7igstP3YM)**. After lag was discovered, lagless stayed the same as it was for quite a while until **[this discussion](http://steamcommunity.com/app/219890/discussions/0/558752449823330555/#p2)** happened, at which point Grey Acumen found the cube chambering glitch - the original video of which can be seen **[here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_mMylck19U)**.

Cube chambering can be performed as follows:
Have cubes in the gun or be holding right mouse picking up cubes, hold left mouse while still holding right mouse, walk through a field of any size, release right mouse while still holding left mouse, finally release left mouse. Be sure not to accidentally pick up a cube you've already gotten through a field while trying to cube chamber another cube.

### Hub Storage Explanation
Here's a video from GamerDudeK including a tutorial on how to do HS and explanation on how/why it occurs. You can ignore the lag/lagess info above when using HS. Lag used together with HS is slower than lagless, however lag can be used to "buffer" HS in order to allow you more realtime to scroll/fire more cubes. Ideally, you want to be able to do HS lagless ("unbuffered").
