Alfred's Adventure Theory TAS

Here's a theory TAS I did for this game. It's already a little out of date, considering some tech's been found in the past few days, but it's still probably a decent strat resource.

Made a TAS of this game myself. It does many tricks that are probably unrealistic on a normal run but maybe some can be adapted.

Oh, whoa, this is really cool! I haven't had the time to commit to really running this game - I've been engaged with other things (I think the same has largely been true for aslion, but I don't wanna speak for him too much) - but I'm glad someone's putting in the work to push this game as far as they can.

Just looking at the video, particularly in terms of routing and your overall movement (which is great btw, watching this TAS's movement is a lot of fun), I'd say this is a really good TAS to aspire to for an RTA runner. There might be a few strats here and there which might be a little hard for a human to feasibly pull off, but there's actually way less than I expected. I think your TAS should probably be considered the new standard for a theory TAS. Good job!

Thank you.

A few tricks look deceptively simple, since they require some very precise optimizations. Some need a long jump, for example, which require you to hold jump frame perfectly, just before you'd start flapping, stop pressing jump for a few frames, and then hold it again to start flapping. This is done because flapping sets your fall speed to a value that is higher than the initial falling speed.
