Basic
Aladdin
- HP: 9 hits
- Takes 1 damage from enemies and non-lethal hazards
- Instantly killed by bottomless pits, water, lava, and boulders
- Zero counts as a life
Movement
- Sliding is faster than running
- Variable speed and x-value and y-value for jumps
Scimitar
- You can slash or thrust to receive items increasing horizontal and vertical reach
- Slashes and thrusts can be deflected by certain enemies
- Slashes can be used to grab cancel
- Jump slash can be used to grab Genie balloons early (Inside the Lamp)
- Slashes have invincibility frames that let you by pass hazards (ie: wrecking balls, spikes)
Apples
- Apples are a projectile that arcs and have limited distance
- Apples are a finite resource
- Apple count carries between levels
- Apple throwing has faster animation than slashing
- Apple count returns to 5, 10, or 15 based on difficulty level after dying
Speed Tech
- Slide - release forward after 2 cycle of run animation to slide forward, use whenever possible
- Screen scroll - press up or down while stationary
- Grab cancel - slash sword while falling or jumping to cancel grabbing
- Apple toss - projectile, primary method of damaging bosses except Shiva-Monkey
- Slide jump - slide into jump
- Short hop - light press of jump (can be used while running)
- Sword jump - extend horizontal jump (Dungeon yoku blocks)
- Sword i-frames - slash to avoid hazards
- Sword grab - extend reach to grab items using scimitar and balloons (Inside the lamp)
- Rope quick grab - fall or jump onto magic rope (Rooftop)
- Palace guard hitbox dodge - hitbox is only around palace guard (pole and scimitar) weapons
- Fast climb - jumping up ropes
- Camel superjump - press jump and slash on camels to get extra height (Agrabah streets)
- Flagpole superjump - fall and press dash and slash on flagpole to get extra height (Rooftop)
- Flagpole slashbounce - press jump and slash flagpole to get increased vertical and horizontal velocity (Rooftop)
- Genie superjump - press jump off a Genie head to get extra height (Lamp)
- Genie quick flick - slash a genie hand to get flicked early (Lamp)
- Flamingo walk-off - walk off of flamingo to quickly reach next platform
- Bonus Jafar - land Jafar to end bonus game
Stages
1 Agrabah Market
- Camal skip (major): perform a camel superjump to bypass genie token and grab rope
- Falling platform walk-off: land on left side of first falling platform to walkoff to second platform
2 Desert
- Palm trees: jump off of skeletons skip first palm tree to quickly traverse palm trees
- Wide jump: after the first palm trees, jump to the tunnel without touching another platform
- Early palm tree jump: jump off the first palm tree (after the tunnel) to reach the top platform early
- Scarab grab (method 1): perform a crouching thrust to grab second scarab through wall
- Scarab grab (method 2): stand close to the wall and throw apples to grab the second scarab through the wall
3 Agrabah Rooftop
- Flagpole skip (major): perform a flagpole superjump to skip large portion of stage
- Rope quick grab: fall off platform to quickly grab rope
- Gap Slide Jump: slide jump across gap without grabbing onto the long vertical wooden pole
- Swagpole 1: flagpole slashbounce after knife juggler to bypass rope
- Swagpole 2: flagpole slashbounce to reach to reach platform
- Double apple: hit Razoul with 2 apples each jump
4 Sultan's Dungeon
- Sword Jump: sword hop from second yoku block to wooden platform
- Yoku cycle 1: screenscroll up to make it onto both platforms during single cycle
- Gap short hop: jump past gap following swinging iron balls
- Yoku cycle 2 (major): screenscroll to make it to both platforms to quickly reach top platform
- Magic platform 2 (major): jump slash to reach the second to last rope early
- *Hint: watch for cycles for yoku blocks on this stage
5 Cave of Wonders
- Platform quick raises: land jumps on raising platforms in one try
- Rope regrab: regrab rope after hitting final Shiva Monkey statue
- Boss quick hits: damage as soon as hitbox is available
- Boss skip (difficult only, major): with 2 HP, get hit by boss when first appears to skip boss
- Carpet skip: jump off carpet following bossfight to get to horizontal platform
- Water skip (major): jump off horizontal platform to reach final climb
- Final climb: make cycles on all moving platforms
6 The Escape
- Genie token skip 1: short hop to jump below genie token but reach platform
- Platform walk-off: walkoff first platform to reach sinking foothold
- Grab cancel: grab cancel off of final jump in second lava section to avoid grabbing onto upper platform
- Long jump: slide jump to reach tunnel before final lava section
- Short hop: Short hop to avoid genie token off of first sinking foothold in final lava section
7 Rug Ride
- Quick finish (major): die 3 times and skip level
8 Inside the Lamp
- Genie superjump (major): perform a genie superjump before A column to skip vertical jumping section
- Sword grab RNG: scroll screen right, return to cushion 3 and perform a sword grab to quickly grab a low balloon
- Genie quick flick 1: perform a genie quick flick to quickly scale 3 genie flick vertical section
- Genie hand walk-offs 1: walk off genie hands to reach next platforms
- Genie hand jump off: jump off of first large genie hand to land on genie head
- Genie hand walk-off 2: walk off genie hands to reach next platform before final Genie quick flick 2

- Carpet walk-on: walk off the first platform before the Genie Jar to ride the first carpet (it looks like you will fall but you won't)
- Carpet early jump-off: jump off of carpet early to reach platform with Palace Guard (knives)
- Fast fall 2: fall without grabbing rope on last rope
- Carpet walk-on 2: walk onto last carpet without jumping
- Carpet early jump-off 2: jump off of carpet early onto final pillar before Jafar
- Apple snipes: throw apples off of pillar to hit Jafar (up to 3)
