How to Start Speedrunning Age Of War 2

Step 1 - Early Game
Firstly, you need to know the game is RNG-based. There's only a certain amount of human error to blame before it becomes a matter of luck. When you start out, make sure to upgrade Support damage to 1 and range to 2. Wait till the enemy meteor strike finishes hitting, or (if you are brave enough) start about 4 seconds into the shower by sending one Slinger, one Dino (The one with the spear), then spamming slingers at the attacking enemies. Base health is to be ignored as they can't deal enough damage before the end of your run, and you're going to be pushing them back anyways.

Step 2 - Midgame
Once you get past about 30 seconds of ingame time, the meteor shower will be usable, and be sure to activate it as quick as possible. Once you're done with that, if you have 1500 gold, buy the second upgrade for Support Damage and continually spam the Slingers.

Step 3 - Endgame
After that it's all up to how long it took for you to get to the enemy base and the RNG of your attack time syncing up with enemy spawns. If you get the muscle memory right and watch all the other speedruns, you're almost guaranteed to get below 48-second times about 50-75% of the time. Remember, enjoy playing the game.
