## ⚡ How do I activate the autosplitter?

The autosplitter is available in the official LiveSplit list, so you don't need to install anything but LiveSplit.

**Config in LiveSplit:**

1. Right-click -> Compare Against -> **Game Time**
2. Right-click -> Edit Splits -> Select Xion Leak from the list -> Click **Activate**

And that's all!

## ✍️ Rules

**Important:** Livesplit **must be used on the host player's side**, not on the client side.

## ⚙️ Autosplitter behavior

### Start

The timer starts when the characters arrive at the first level of the game, after the animation displaying the level title.

### Pause

The timer is paused during:

- cutscenes
- transitions
- the score menu (at the end of speed levels or XION levels)
- obtaining new powers

### Split

- A split is triggered when returning to the world map (retrying a level does not trigger a split)
- ⚠️**Warning:** This also means that a split is triggered after cutscenes that change biomes (from 1 to 2, and from 2 to 3)
- The end is also considered a split and is triggered when the rocket cutscene starts
