# General

For speed, you need to hold button 1 to always run. Personally I found more confortable to use one finger for each button instead of using the thumb for 2 buttons.

The score needs to stay low so count down at the end of the act is faster. For that stars should be avoided

There is a lot of lags and it's weird when the game suddently stop lagging the jumps feel slipery. For example after fighting the dragon. There might be some part where killing enemies might be reduce the lags, for instance the mountain.

Keep jumping might be faster than just running

# Difficulties

between easy and normal it's not too much difference, just less enemies.

But Hard has more enemies, some auto scroll goes fast (e.g. the river) bosses have more life, especially the final boss

i'm gonna write down little by little, I think the current WR would speak for itself. Since it's a fresh run, there will be more improvements pretty soon

very simple, just avoid all the stars, but there is one that cannot be avoided

## Bridge

## Swamps

one spot i'm waiting a bit to have a better timing on the next jumps. I'm sure there is a way.
Using the vine is slower than jumping on the frog's head, the strat. might be a good idea to do the waiting at the beginning like the GB port.

## Snake

it's RNG where it appears, it can be killed in one cycle, you just need to get the timing right.
with a well timed jumps, the snake doesn't move at all

## Sarsaparilla

## Mountains

The spring can be lifted, so it's better than the damage boost at the end? maybe with some very good timing the damage boost can be better

## Flight

~keep up right, you won't die ahah~

keeping up and right has more lags, it's faster to stay at the bottom, there are less lighting and less lags, it would save 6s or so. For example this [RUN](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2168443950), I was able to save 5s on my previous PB

smalls jumps up when going up hill

super laggy part, it would be faster jumping on the right side

## Dragon

making the dragon light up the upper plateform makes

a lot of timing, sometimes might be better to wait for it to roll instead of jumping at the wrong moment, especially above those hedgehog

you can jump near the middle of the seesaw, then it's faster to go back to the edge and wait for the acorn
