Thought I'd record some of my notes for the lessons. The "hardest" part of each lesson is the final performance shown above. In the practice room, you can do the individual note practice, rhythm practice, etc., for these lessons. These are the hardest parts of each lesson and the game, so it can pay off to practice these specifically. It's also a good test to see "how far you can get".
There are multiple songs not shown above that aren't featured in the lessons, only in the practice room, that you cannot be graded on.
Lesson 7 is bugged and has to be memorized and played with a 60 bpm tempo. When it turns the page it lags and cannot be completed by matching the screen.
Lesson 32, Greensleeves, requires the foot pedal. The footpedal is often not included with many used Miracle Pianos and is harder to find than the actual piano!
PecoDeGuile (@GuilePeco) has a guide on how to get a proper AC adapter and how to make your own foot pedal from commonly available foot pedals on amazon that you can find here: https://x.com/GuilePeco/status/1782453111845437711
The cable adapter that connects the Miracle Piano to the NES can also be difficult to find. PecoDeGuile has another video of him building cables with easily available parts: https://x.com/GuilePeco/status/1770244532665524404
According to Kelsy, for "26.7 the notes that are tied together actually need to be played staccato style. If you play them as shown in the sheet music, you'll fail".
7.5 is the one that's bugged, and the one that TMR skipped in his learning of the game. The metronome at 60 trick still gives complaints about the rhythm.
