Hello all!  I'm new to the Okami running scene, but I've been putting in some time to really try to learn how to open this game up for me (as a beginner).  Since I've been using the Switch version, I've been watching Kinnin11's 1st place run and repeating what I've seen.  I was struggling HARD at the Sasa Sanctuary OOB skip, but after some playing around I managed to find an alternative to Kinnin's method that I've found to be easier and quicker.

By using the slope in the path that leads to Sasa Sanctuary, after first entering the area, we can use speed and full jump height to jump to the slope above without having to go to up the cliff on the right first.  This allows us to immediately setup for the OOB skip at the area of the slope that we'd normally use anyways.  My only struggle is aligning to land on the path that leads directly to the waterspout dig after falling OOB, but I have found it consistent to easily land in the main foyer or upper level with no problem every time.  While landing in the foyer or upper level loses a handful of seconds against Kinnin's run, the time saved by not climbing the cliff to setup for the OOB skip should make up for that lost time.
