Even if it is only for contacts, scratch profile would legitimately be a nice thing to have. There are a lot of scratch speedrunners on the site, and you can contact people on scratch.

What worked for me was grabbing a few usernames through OGU and then just messaging mods with proof of old account ownership. Some were super cool about it and helped me fix up the profiles after I verified stuff. It’s hit or miss depending on which mod you contact, but showing old timestamps or linked socials helped a lot.
