Hello everyone. For the past week the SADX moderators have been discussing modification and timing changes to the leaderboards

With thanks to Jellyfishswimmer/turtlechuck we now have a livesplit script that works with the steam version of SADX. Also thank you to everyone who provided an opinion on what should happen moving forward.

We have decided to go with the following changes.

Timing Method The timing method for SADX will now be based on IGT and the leaderboard will default to this view. Please submit all runs with an IGT obtained using the script for the version you are playing on and a RTA time. A guide for setting this up will be created soon.

The leaderboard will be updated to reflect these new changes. Assuming the following is possible this is what I plan to do.

No existing runs will be removed from the board however if they do not have the IGT script running on the video they will not have an IGT associated with them. Current runs that have an IGT but also have CCEF will also not have an IGT associated as they are now void.

Although IGT will be what determines leaderboard position Speedrun.com allows you to view the boards by RTA should you wish to do so.

Modifications SADX is going back to being as modification free as possible and you will need to learn to run with your chosen version's differences. All modifications for SADX except Input Mod / Xinput fix are now banned from this point on.

CCEF - If you wish to have the same functionality CCEF provided the steam version is now viable with the livesplit script as it keeps timing between steam and PC disk competitive.

63FPS - This mod is now irrelevant to the timing of the game so is being removed from runs going forward.

Ghost mod and all unofficial versions of the game are still banned.

I haven't been able to get the IGT script to work on my end, and I run the Steam version.

Did you already look at the IGT tutorial in the Guide tab?

Yeah I followed every step but the timer acted like the RTA timer and wouldn't base itself on the IGT like it's supposed to.

Try to uninstall and reinstall the game, also make sure you don't have any mods installed like bettersadx, then try again.
