New Timing System

Also, @Sir_Farcelot, I can help if you need me. Also, an Excel document might be perfect for all these calculations

I think that creates more problems. First, only a few people are still online. Rather than trying to contact a few mods, you would have to talk to everyone who has submitted a run. Second, the 119 followers aren't going to find the new game or understand why everyone has left. Third, you can't make a speedrunning page for a game that already has a page. I guess you could get past the system if the person (?) verifying the requests doesn't do any research, but it's still unlikely.

The problem isn't that there aren't enough mods, it's that they aren't online anymore.

Also I feel like this thread has gotten off topic. (not unlike a forum a few months ago) @MichaelChan hasn't responded to any of the new points yet (Surely he's busy and doesn't have much time for petty threads like this.

That is true and it is a problem, but how are there going to be more moderators if the game's original ones are gone?

@CAKEC0DER i don't know if that would be possible. Because im not a Super-moderator and i kind of have a lack of knowledge of moderation. I only know well how to verify runs.

@Swskrei agree. It would be hard to get the over 200 different people who submitted a run in the game to going to the new speedrun page.

yeah

Honestly... as @Swskrei has already said, there's no point in creating an entirely new speedrunning page.

Once a "super-moderator" comes back, more people can become mods, and it'll be fine :)

I, honestly, do not have the time nor the ability to care lol, so if you tag me then I'll respond, of course.

One thing tho, I also won't care about my run's status or anything lol, so... here's my recommendation - for moderators, you can time any% runs now by manually adding up all times in a completed standard run~ that would, I hope, make everyone happy that my crown that's undermined by controversies transferred to someone who deserves it better than me (aii), and also makes future timing more fair, in a way.

@MichaelChan Would be a great idea! Thanks for sharing your opinion. So for the moment, im going to wait to more mods to see the post, and then, a decision will be made.

I'm glad this issue is (almost) resolved. :)

Yeah :)

Wow... everyone kind of went crazy here. Everything I want to say has already been said, so I don't have much to add to this!

All I'll say is that I'm really glad everyone here is so dedicated to making sure the runs are timed correctly :D

(Also, I didn't use an autoclicker. It's not hard to get perfect load times without one if you hold down your mousepad!)

I think we can archive this discussion

this thread is from two weeks ago so im not sure if this issue has been resolved but if the current super moderators are being too difficult to contact regarding this problem you can file a support hub request to be promoted to super moderator

New Standards of Proof

Due to a recent cheating situation, I feel that top runs should have more proof.

  1. Any top 10 full game runs now needs a video of at least 20 minutes of attempts submitted along with it.

  2. any top 50% individual level submission now must have the replay code in the description or, if it's too lo
