yes I know. I do everything the instructions say. Download, find where it's downloaded. Move the current patch files somewhere else, and replace them with the depot files. Launch the game, and I can't do anything.
Hey Wholeman, I see exactly what you mean... I tried to launch old patch again today and I see exactly what you describe. I remember this being a problem and that there was a way to fix it but I will need to think and try a little longer to figure it out. Sadly I'm quite busy this week but I'll try to get to it when I can! Replying here just so you know that it's not you but something in the guide (both old patch and old patch/no hack cooldown are not working strangely) If you have already figured out a way to fix this (or find one) be sure to post it here so I can update the guides.

Let me post this here so I also don't forget: This main menu "glitch" will happen when you try to load old patch while still having a savefile from current patch. Because current patch savefiles contain more data the game doesn't really know what to do and you get this effect. So be sure to remove your save files before you load old patch.
