hi, sorry I'm kinda new to speedrunning so sorry if this is a stupid/obvious question. but i was wondering if there are any restrictions on remapping keys for different controls? mainly im looking at the switching between rooms to save time on going back and forth between the arrows. are there any restrictions or is stuff like that allowed? thanks :) (and sorry again if its a stupid question)

Hi! Don't worry there's no stupid question 😅 In my opinion it's totally valid, the only thing you shouldn't do is macroing as in binding a combination of keys on only one, but for the rest i think it's all good!

I tried to bind my left click on my keyboard to make it either for me and as it didn't really help me it wouldn't bother me if anyone used it!

So yes if there are already controls for left right arrows you can modify them without problems 😊 (It has to be confirmed by the moderator!)

Yea remapping is fine. As long as you aren't automating clicks or mouse movement, then it's ok.
