I got a little question. Is there actually a difference if you start a new game from the beginning or if you just start in in the game menu?

Ah thanks! Hmm will have to sacrifise than 2min for the video settings in the beginning. :(
Regarding Restart Glitch
The "Restart Glitch" (performing a run up to a certain point then restarting, which can in some cases trigger a wrong warp ahead of your opponent) is now banned, in order to prevent the leaderboards becoming cluttered by 0.01s runs. (Thanks @Lerep)
