Check it outt! It has been years since this page has been used but I'm super excited and hoping to see some runs of the full game!

I've edited the leaderboards a bunch, and made a separate catagory for the old Game Jam version!

I'm not super good at editing speedrun.com pages so please lemme know if anything looks bad <3

Looks fine!

You will probably want to add an extra category at some point, because there is a hidden ending type deal but I'll spare you the details for now if you plan on playing it yourself.

ooh yesss I am pretty sure I know what you're talking about 👀 I'll have to look into making a category based around it! and thank you for the feedback! <3

hello i dont run this game (yet?) so feel free to ignore me but i do get really pissy about leaderboards for games i care about looking good so i wanna throw in some advice

-put episode runs in ILs rather than on the main board -rename "Full Game" to "Any%" (this is purely based on what punchy said regarding a future category and isn't that big of a deal for now imo) -put the gamejam version category in misc

i think that would make the board look much less cluttered and overall more readable but again feel free to ignore me :p

thank you so much for the feedback! you not running the game yet doesn't give me a reason to ignore you! <3

I put the gamejam catagory in misc, that was a super good point! about the other stuff, the nature of the game makes me not really want to put the episodes in ILs tbh.. it's hard to explain but like, the game doesn't really treat them as levels and more so as different chapters of a story and to an extent different games! and you get the option to choose any one of them just after booting up the game for the first time! maybe I'm just silly though and they do belong in ILs, I wanna know what others think!

about the any% thing.. ooh I am thinking about that! I'm not exactly the best at terminology ever but I believe any% would mean doing literally anything to beat the game as fast as possible (aside from hacking and what not) so... I think I might create a separate any% catagory where you're allowed to change from the default settings and stuff (such as enemy health drop rates and invincibility frames, which could make runs a bit faster in some ways!) I'm not sure though.. would that be a good idea?

it's very very clear that I am not exactly super experienced or knowledgeable when it comes to managing a speedrun.com board and honestly I could use some helping hands! if anyone wants to help out and be a mod, as long as you have experience modding other boards and have a passion for the game I'll probably give you mod, just lemme know <3

My reasoning behind putting episode runs in ILs is because to my knowledge there isn't really a way to segment them further(?) and the main board is usually used for full game runs. Like, full-game full game :p Perhaps if you still wanted them on the main board, simply add a single category called "Episode Runs" and add each episode as a subcategory? Would certainly help the currently a-little-excessive clutter with the categories c:

As for "true any%" with allowing modifiers etc, I feel like it'd just clutter the board with no real interest in runs from anyone. I'd say either allow all the different modifiers outright for all the runs or ban them entirely, no real reason to split the boards.

l'll have to decline the offer to be a mod though (at least for now!), wouldn't feel right to mod a board of a game i don't run :p

I've organised boards with individual episodes before, they usually get put in misc (if they don't lend themselves to being ran as individual levels,) or ILs (if the game lets the player run the the levels individually - especially if there's a crapload of 'em). For the IL case, you basically put the episode as the fronting category and then put the ILs inside them as separate "categories".

I'm not sure if the game allows you to run levels individually yet, so idk what's best.
