I found that you can see the answers in the game rom. I played some games normally first. Apparently this version has 4,000 puzzles or more. Since I am bored, I could pull them all into a text file and upload it for everyone, but I wanted to check whether there's an etiquette preference first among runners. I know Baldnate's run has some logical guesses based on past answers for example, and I welcome discussion on we want the game to be complete deduction, or to remain memer as is now. <3
Sorry for the delayed response; the site is notifying me of stuff a week late.
Feel free to post the database!! I'm sure people would appreciate the reference. In any of the WOF games I would imagine.
Excellent! I'm 1/4 of the way through now. I hope to be done within the next week, then I can start data mining, though if we have anyone who can make a program for that it would help.
Up to 3100 now, there may still be 1 or 2000 more, only time will tell. I got someone to share formulas that will split everything by length, and words count, so I'll be able to make a calculator of sorts and harvest unique-syntaxed answers.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LWB3nXQRD46cQrrYkMloHrpG52GPZBPVqAT-t9aRQJw/edit?usp=sharing I've got the beginnings of a calculator going. The puzzles will codified by category, and wordlengths of answers excluding ', - and &, and those will yield a search-code beside each puzzle. Eventually I'll then colour code uniques, and for multiple plausible answers, I'll mark a letter to guess that makes the solution obvious. So for example, you do Ctrl-F and search 'BA452', and you see that HAIR BRUSH UP is the only possible solution.
I'm still getting all the answers out, this may be a few weeks or months yet but all feedback on improvements and ease of use welcome. I also eventually intend to mark unique solutions by punctuation.
