Hey guys, I know this game is pretty dead and no one is gonna be running it, but I figured it would be a bit helpful to get some basic rules setup so we know how to properly time runs, etc. If anyone has recommendations going forward let me know and we can talk about it. Thanks. :)

I'll try to help as much as I can but this won't be my top priority so I can't make any promises.

As for standardizing timing I was never satisfied with having to wait through the entire final narration, maybe there's an easy way to split on the last input when the screen fades to white and Edith says "This is where your story begins."

Yeah, an autosplitter would be pretty rad, but I genuinely have no idea how to even start going about making one as I've never done that before. I honestly don't really care when the run starts or ends. If we decide to change the timing then I would be more than happy to try and do more runs of the game to better fit with updated rules. :D

I just started running it and have been starting timer when the music begins on new game and ending when screen fades to black at the end

@Kameron Howdy, I usually make auto splitters for games I plan on speedrunning (this one of those games) and taking a quick peek at the games coding, it is very hard to say if you could even do it because of the fact that the game doesn't really have checkpoints, but I'll look into it more for you and let you know
