3 Wizards turn 2 are always nice, even if 1 of them dies instantly to the first city it tries to fight... The other 2 lived for quite a long time and conquered many cities. Also I had luck with my 2nd hero arriving in a city near to the blue player so that I could move on to Orange. In the meantime my 1st hero found some Archons and a double movement item so he was pretty useful too.
