What do folks think is the best party composition for a speedrun. I have been using:

2x Ninjas 2x Enchanters 1x Dragoon 2x Duelist 3x Snipers 1x Skylord

I am think about changing this to swap on of the Duelist for another Dragoon, but I wanted to see if anyone out there has a recommend composition or if there is a standard comp that is used for a speedrun. Any feedback is appreciated!

Well, for me there is no best party composition, i prefer to play with a party composition with i feel comfortable, for now my party composition with i beat my WR is this one : 2x Ninjas (Sara & Huxley) 2x Enchanters (Eleni & Zohar) 2x Dragoons (Dolan & Grog) 1x Duelist (Clint) 2x Snipers (Kira & Darius) 2x Skylords (Diego & Amon) If i can give you an advice, try at least to get 2 Skylords :) Don't hesitate to tell when you go on stream, like this i can see how you play ^^

Thanks Vandalnabio! I recently switched up and started running with two Dragoons. I did have Grog as my Duelist, I found that it helped during the Magnus fight, as well as the prison section for Clint. I'll definitely try the two Skylord setup too. @capdolan on Twitch and I'll let you know next time I run! Thanks for advice and the engagement here!

Vandalnabilo is correct. I don't know if there is a definitively best party composition. I think you just need to have a strategy and optimize the levels with the party you choose.

I think most people are always going to have Eleni and Zohar as Sorcerers.

I really like having all hawknights. The speed and relative power of the flyers is very helpful in many levels, often allowing me to win a battle in 1 less turn than I would otherwise, but it is hard not have any archers to use ranged attacks.

I like having all swordsmen. I feel like in the later levels Clint, Grog, and Dolan don't help out much, but I at least need them to be able to move to attack sometimes or to be decoys or something.

The only variety I have is with Huxley and Sara. It is essential for me to have Huxley as a Monk so I have the Perfect Guard spell. It really helps me have a great time in Fort Dain and Frontier Village. But I also like having Sara as a Bishop for Ranged Healing Spells and the Holy Pressure spell is very handy to have as well.
