I am currently grinding for sub 21, which I am mostly sure is possible. You just need near godlike RNG.

Today I played 200 games of FTTBA, and found how often each time showed up. Here are the results:

21s: 8.5% 22s: 39% 23s: 46% 24s: 6.5%

Another fact: Franklin the Turtle's Balloons Away is the greatest speedgame of all time. You will never be able to convince me to speedrun another game ever again.

Unless I am missing something, I think this game is too short and the times you can get are too similar to each other for it to be timed in seconds alone. I suggest timing runs in milliseconds instead. Thoughts?

So late last year I had an idea: What if there was a speedrun that required no user input and was determined entirely by RNG? So I made a game in Scratch based on this idea, then let it run on my computer extensively, bringing the WR from 6:13 all the way down to 3:32 in about a month.

Then recently, someone on Discord told me about Barney’s Hide and Seek Game’s “No Controller Any%” category, which was the same idea as my idle speedrun game, and was an effect of the game having an autoplay feature along with some RNG. Although it’s kinda disappointing how little variation there is in the times you get; apparently according to a guide on SRC, you can get the fastest possible time on an emulator in around 5 attempts. But still, it was interesting to learn that my idea has already existed since the 90s.

So yeah, just thought I’d tell this little story about how I can never come up with original ideas :p

Recently I submitted a request for the webgame "Arrow Quest", which was rejected for not being "notable". I personally don't see how adding smaller games hurts anyone, especially if it's a decent speedgame that meets the criteria and there are people that enjoy playing it (Arrow Quest doesn't appear to be short or trivial, and there are already a few people interested in it). Furthermore, there are other obscure webgames that were submitted by their creators and got added, particularly the "Platformer Game" series (https://www.speedrun.com/platformer_game). Now, I understand that the first game in that series was added over 2 years ago, and that the rules for adding games have changed since then, but I still don't see the point in restricting games based on "notability"; again, I think that if it's a decent speedgame and people enjoy speedrunning it, it should be added just like any other game on speedrun.com.
