From my experience in the game, the only way to delete save files off of PRR is by going into the Wii's Storage Memory and deleting the data file off of your system. I have to do that on the Wii U as well and it's so backwards, but that's what you have to do.

To clarify what I meant, the epilepsy filter is enabled by default on the SNES Classic so you can't disable it. We currently don't allow emulator or console runs besides the SNES Classic because of that.

The only issue from a modding standpoint that I see is that the SNES Classic has an epilepsy filter and no emulation or actual hardware except the Classic itself can emulate it. During the Andross fight, it does affect lag so that's why it may never be a combined category. I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be an issue now to split up the two into separate categories like Star Fox 64 does, but of course, that's a mod's call.

Gambatte is a legal Game Boy emulator and you'd have no problem running that on Android's version of RetroArch. You'd also have better luck setting it up with a controller if your device supports OTG or extra USB ports like some of these TV Box devices have. Have fun and good luck!

That would be very good, especially for those new to the speedrun (like I am).

That's actually what I've been getting lately as well. In my last PB, I hang to the right, but come back once the first "save me" message comes up. I then hug right again until I get to the point where I can grab the Twin Blasters and then I hug right again. That's when that second "save me" section turns into "Thank you!" I've definitely noticed a time save there with that method.

True, and members of the Star Fox community and I have came to the same conclusion.

No judgement calls yet. Once we have the game in hand, then we'll start analyzing it, ripping it apart, etc.

Until that time, we'll still enjoy the beta.

...and if it is, that would just give us a new game to run. I'd still run Star Fox 2 regardless of version we get. :) Simple as that.

I agree with Down's suggestion about this new category and the reset point. This definitely sounds like a fantastic idea and I'm all for it!

I'm looking for 2 room mates who are looking for a room that ¤is not¤ for all 7 days of the marathon. Looking at a possible 24th - 27th rooming situation. If you're interested, please contact me by Twitter DM or on the Discord by DM, thanks!
