I don’t know if this is a known strategy or if it doesn’t even let you mash faster but I’ve found that if you take the joystick on a nunchuck an put on on the A button and shake it left and right in a tight and smooth motion you can mash the button incredibly fast. I’m not sure the capability of it cuz I discovered it tapping through loading screen tips on Spider-Man shattered dimensions but if someone could hook it up to a computer and see exactly how fast you’re pressing the button that’d be nice.
I have found every glitch that I can find in all of my speed games. I need a new game. It can be any genre, any generation, anything, it doesn't matter. all I need is a somewhat unoptimized game for me to poke and prod around in for glitches (the game being free would be pretty cool though).
I’m not sure if it’s much faster but if you clip through the top of the room instead of right under the orb you can get the orb by only going through the portal once.
You can clip through walls using goblins, it’s the same principal as the slime clip. I haven’t done it in a while but with precise timing if you dash when a goblin hits you it sends you through the wall.
i used to do offline speed runs of this game in early 2021 and i got to a 17:36 routing the game out by myself and its a pretty damn good time for my route. im bewildered by how 2 minutes was shaved off and i want to see the run to know what potatoish does differently. unfortunately the link doesnt work, potatoish if you see this could you pretty please post the run to youtube.
i dont have any runs up, im the guy who found the whitebar glitch though
Since the old speedrunning discord got changed and the new discord linked to the SRC page is just the official discord for the game there is nowhere to go to discus the speedrun of the game (that i know of). Will we ever make a new discord server or will it just stay like this indefinitely.
I’m fairly knowledgeable about the game and I’m still fairly active on src, if needs be I could help moderate the game.
I don’t like the prospect of having to do RTA ILs as because the IGT was and still is why I’m mainly an IL runner. But I also don’t like the idea of completely cutting off quit resets. I think a better idea is to do what another game I glitch hunt, turbo overkill does. The IGT in that game is broken and it doesn’t add deaths to the final time of levels. So in runs where people die or restart to a checkpoint we start a timer from when they hit the checkpoint that they went back to, then we stop it when they die and add that to the final time. As long as it’s done on the runners part it shouldn’t add much hassle to the verification process.
are you making sure you fully crouch before you start whitebar, then you start whitebar and uncrouch in whitebar
On the route to the bad ending in chapter 1 you have to go down a set of stairs and akumu "jumpscares" you when you get close to the bottom. However if you walk at the little side wall you can get over the wall and just fall all the way to the bottom. (also keep in mind last time i played the game was multiple months ago so it might have been patched)
you can submit runs with a phone recording but make sure the clear time at the end of levels is legible if you're doing IL runs. since the level is over you can pick up your phone and bring it up to show the final time clearly if your camera quality is too low.
i've glitch hunter chapters 1 and 2 and i could find a few ways to get out of bounds in both chapters but neither lead to anything, the invisible walls are air tight for the most part
im currently glitch hunting chapter 1 of judy and i have found a to get out of bounds but currently its useless as you're completely trapped when you get out. im trying to find a way to make it useful though
Genuine question, did you alt f4 after the burning building skip
