the reload rule used to be implemented and was scrapped for the exact reasons you've just described: there are ways to get around it. The current rule asking runners to show a few previous attempts helps mods to catch any code tampering shenanigans. It's also worth saying experienced runners know what is likely and what is not, and if a random player came in and submitted a bunch of unbelievable times, we'd be suspicious. I'd recommend DM'ing myself or mods on discord if you have any further questions or insights, it'd be better not to discuss the inner workings of the rules publicly.
i don't really understand the question tbh. There are categories for each of the circuits and single segment for both versions
I wrote a non-definitive guide to just completing every fight blindfolded. It's still not fully finished and does not prioritize speed but if you're interested only in completion, you can check it out here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NfRsPchN3YfowIYiyf-pGVZSYAoWwLu5gFIK4e8NFWs/edit?usp=sharing
I'd also recommend watching the other blind runs on the boards, particularly those of mrmega and hootey, as they can help you visualize strategies and pick up new ones. older runs than these may be missing certain strategies and cranks runs are essentially Single Segment runs at this point in terms of strategy, but they're also all still worth a watch.
i'm pretty sure mega mentioned he was working on a full blind guide at some point. If that ever surfaces, one of us will put it in this thread.
