Visit https://www.speedrun.com/clustertruck/Desert_World#NoUtility and you'll see the 'Desert world' segment of our 'NoUtility' category. You'll note that none of the runs submitted "Uses Pause Skips," according to the list shown.

Now click 'Filter.'

First you'll note that there are two "Uses Pause Skips" filters showing. One of these filters is for the NoAbility% category and shouldn't display on this tab, but it does. In fact, both of our "Uses Pause Skips" variables appear as filterable choices across all the categories, whether those categories make use of the variable or not. Filters that are not associated with the category shown, should also not be shown.

Second, mouse over the last of the "Uses Pause Skips" options in that 'Filters' list. You'll see that "Any" is pre-selected. But this is a lie -- which is why none of the submitted runs you currently see 'Use Pause Skips.' Click on the, already highlighted and selected, "Any" and you'll see the three top runs in this category suddenly appear.

The Filter option says its displaying Any, but what they are displaying is the default for submission... Which is 'No.'

So what it looks like to me is: The 'Filter' options are not, themselves, filtered when switching between tabs, resulting in all variables for all categories being displayed on every tab, even where they have no business being. More crucially, the default state of the Filter is erroneously linked to the default state of the variable at submission, making it impossible for us to maintain both an appropriate submitting default for runners, AND show the complete leaderboard on first load. And finally, the UI is incorrectly representing what's shown where the 'Filter' purports to be displaying 'Any' while it is actually pre-selected to 'No.'

So visitors to this board will not see the full board unless they click 'Filter,' then guess at which of the two variables that have the same name is the one associated with this category, and then disregard the UI telling them that 'Any' is already being shown, and manually select it again.
